Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to set up and run various machine tools on-site, Monday through Friday. The role requires interpreting drawings, selecting tools, and ensuring precise tolerances.

You will contribute to continuous improvement projects and collaborate with engineering teams to maintain equipment efficiency. The position emphasizes hands-on machining, adherence to safety standards, and timely completion of parts for production while supporting standard work

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years in manufacturing.
• Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, maintenance, and operation.
• Ability to read gauges, dials, and interpret technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools (lathes, milling machines, etc.).
• Develop and improve Standard Work sheets for consistent machining and assembly processes.
• Engage in the 5 Why Process for problem-solving and continuous improvement with engineering support.
• Assemble and align components for various units using engineering documents and standard work.
• Maintain equipment efficiency by operating, reworking damaged parts, and reading Bills of Material.
