The Phillip Charles Group is seeking experienced CNC Machine Operators for a leading aerospace manufacturer in Trenton, MI. This full-time position requires setup and operation of CNC mills, lathes, EDM and related equipment, with a focus on tight tolerances and aerospace quality standards.

Applicants should have 2+ years of CNC experience, read blueprints and GD&T, and be comfortable using precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years CNC setup/operating experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read measurements to 0.0001".
• Familiar with CNC controls such as Fanuc or Haas.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, EDM, and other equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T
• Verify tooling, machine settings, and material
• Monitor machines and troubleshoot basic issues
• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
• Maintain tight tolerances and accurate production records
• Follow safety and aerospace quality standards

This company specializes in precision machining, metal fabrication, and welded assemblies and is committed to maintaining high-quality aerospace standards.

Multiple Shifts Available

Days:6:00AM–4:30PM
Mid:12:00PM–10:30PM
Nights:3:30PM–2:00AM |$1/hr shift premium

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, EDM, and other equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T
• Verify tooling, machine settings, and material
• Monitor machines and troubleshoot basic issues
• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
• Maintain tight tolerances and accurate production records
