Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Durham, NH is seeking a CNC machine operator on second shift (Mon-Fri 3:30pm-12:00am). You will set up, calibrate, and run production machines, following drawings and procedures to meet tolerances.

The role includes inspecting parts with precision tools, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with CNC programming. A high school diploma or GED with at least one year of related experience is required, with CNC training preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience with CNC machine operation or manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate machines in production processes.
• Follow verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models.
• Inspect operations and finished products with precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Set up CNC production machines per procedures.
• Use computer-controlled equipment to position and secure machines.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks per specs.
• Assist with numeric controlled programming.
