Job summary

The Adecco Group is seeking a Machine Operator in Rancho Cucamonga, CA for a 12-month contract. The role requires setting up and operating CNC machinery on the 2:00 PM–10:30 PM shift, Monday through Friday, with a $24/hour pay rate.

Responsibilities include reading production schedules, inspecting and measuring parts, and ensuring tolerance and quality. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of CNC experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience operating CNC machinery.
• Ability to set up and operate CNC machinery.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-operations inspections to ensure the machine is ready to be operated in safe and efficient manner .
• Reads and executes daily production schedule as directed by supervisor.
• Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining.
• Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machinery.
• Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.
• Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required and reports problems to supervisor as necessary.
• Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications and stops production if any part is detected to be out of specification.
• Will confer with supervisor to resolve machining problems.
• Produces daily production reports, inspections and other reports as directed by supervisor.
• Must have an understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions.
• Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policies and safety procedures.
