Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in operating and programming CNC machines to produce precision fasteners. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring the quality of the finished products. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently.

Experience with Tsugami 205 is preferred, or a minimum of 2 years' experience as a CNC Swiss Machinist.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

1. Work from and follow process specifications, travelers, blueprints, rework/rejection tags, work instruction, relevant process controls, and verbal/written instruction.
2. Conduct in process inspections and measure workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
3. Ensure quality standards / inspection plan are completed / meet for the completed machine operation.
4. Edit program as required to compensate for tool wear and machine operation in order to continually produce parts within tolerance.
5. Remove flashing, burrs, and sharp edges from work piece and perform other additional operations at CNC work center that will reduce shop flow.
6. Required to maintain cutting tool inserts and replace/repair tools as necessary to assure machine operation.
7. Other duties as assigned by Team Leader.

Key Roles are:

1. Set up and run Swiss turn machines - Tsugami.
2. Ability to adjust program and tooling to maximize quality and efficiency and perform complex setups.
3. Independently perform inspection; train and mentor as required.
4. Cares for parts in accordance with procedures (Corrosion Protection/Handling/FOD).

Education & Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and a minimum one to three years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

1. Ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers in both written and oral form.
2. Ability to perform statistical process control input and interpret statistical data to compensate for machining deviation. Ability to perform mathematical calculations on fractions, percentages, decimals, and machine speeds/feeds.
