Job description

We are hiring experienced 2nd-Shift CNC Machine Operators to join our talented team in Lancaster, PA.

CNC Machine Operators are responsible for setting up and operating various machines to support our fabrication process. This includes machine centers such as Mazak & Fryer machining centers, MG oxy & MG Titan burning machines, CNC punch, Rojar milling machine, brake press, and Gemini burning/drilling machining center. Occasionally, operators may be assigned to fabrication tasks beyond machine operation.

Work Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM.

Compensation: We offer a generous shift differential of 25% of base salary.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Previous machining experience, including operating a lathe, mill, or CNC machining center.
• Experience in setting offsets and tooling for first-piece inspection.
• Familiarity with XYZ axes on machining centers.
• Ability to machine compound tapers and end mills is preferred.
• Experience operating material handling equipment (jib and overhead cranes) with proper lifting techniques.
• Accurate layout and measuring skills are a plus.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading machines with first-piece checks and documentation.
• Performing burning, punching, drilling, grinding, and assisting with brake operations, material handling, or other tasks.
• Operating portable grinders for rough grinding burrs, scale, edges, or welds on structural steel.
• Using hand lift trucks, overhead cranes, or hoists to move or position products.
