CNC Machine Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Operate production CNC Lathes, Mills, and other dedicated or manual machinery under the supervision of the Team Leader.
2. Plan machining by studying blueprints, specifications, surface locations, machining offsets, and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
3. Verify settings by measuring positions using precision instruments (such as micrometers, calipers, comparator, and other specialty gaging) and adjust offsets as needed.
4. Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting operations (including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing), taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, determining causes, and resolving operating errors. Replace worn tools and complete preventive maintenance, adhering to quality assurance procedures.
5. Ensure safe operations by following safety procedures and regulations.
6. Support shift continuity by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and needs.
7. Document events by completing Production and Quality logs.
8. Contribute to organizational goals by taking ownership of tasks and exploring opportunities to add value.

Candidate Requirements:

Reliable and responsible individuals capable of working independently and collaboratively. Excellent attendance is mandatory. Heavy lifting and standing are required.
