The Cutter/Folder Operator is responsible for setting up and operating finishing equipment that automatically folds, slits, and scores printed sheets into signatures for binding. Responsibilities include ensuring orders are accurately completed through loading and feeding paper, and the effectiveness and accuracy of cutting and staging completed work per instructions. The operator also adjusts the machine during production runs and performs minor maintenance as needed.
This is a 1st shift role from Monday through Friday, 7AM - 3PM, with opportunities for overtime.
The physical demands include frequent sitting, use of hands for handling objects, talking, listening, and occasional standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, bending, reaching. Occasionally lifting/moving up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
