Position Summary

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating CNC machinery to produce parts according to established specifications, production requirements, and quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read production documents and blueprints, experience using precision measuring tools, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently according to production requirements.
• Set up, load, and unload materials and finished parts from CNC machinery.
• Monitor equipment during operation and make basic machine adjustments as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and production instructions.
• Use precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify part dimensions.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure finished parts meet required specifications.
• Change tooling and make minor machine adjustments when required.
• Identify and promptly report machine, tooling, material, or quality issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning, and routine housekeeping.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Meet established production, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates should have previous experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing or production environment. They should be comfortable reading blueprints and production specifications, using precision measuring equipment, performing quality checks, and working in a fast-paced production setting.
