CNC Machine Operator – Up to $25 an hour

What will you be doing?

• Programming equipment, including setting tool registers, offsets, and calculating requirements
• Maintaining product specifications by observing cutting, beveling, drilling, and troubleshooting processes that require adjustments
• Analyzing blueprints and specifications to verify layout and required operations
• Uploading CNC files to machines
• Finishing and packaging materials
• Obtaining certifications in forklift and overhead crane operation

• A positive, can-do attitude
• LEAN manufacturing knowledge and/or the ability to obtain 5S certification within 6 months of employment
• Knowledge of oxy-fuel and plasma cutting
• Understanding of basic drill and saw feed rates and speeds
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Basic math skills
• Comfort using electronic devices such as tablets to complete work
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing for the duration of the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds safely, and other physical requirements outlined in the full job description
