Rotating Machinery Services Inc. in Pearland, TX, is seeking an Associate CNC Lathe/VTL Machinist to join our shop team.

You will perform turning, boring, drilling, and threading with close tolerances on diverse components, using Fanuc controls and reading drawings and G-code. The role requires basic measurement tools (micrometers, calipers) and the ability to read blueprints, interpret work instructions, and ensure quality compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a relevant tech/voc program preferred.
• Two+ years in a safety-sensitive manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read drawings and use calibrated measuring tools.
• Experience with turning, milling, drilling, and threading operations; familiarity with Fanuc controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Lathe and VTL machines with close tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints and G-code; ensure parts meet specifications.
• Maintain measuring tools and perform basic tool calibration.
• Work safely in a shop environment and adhere to company procedures.
