Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years CNC Lathe experience.
• Overhead crane experience.
• Sound mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to read CNC programs and blueprints.
• Proven setup capabilities and tooling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe to close tolerances and produce quality parts.
• Inspect parts during production using precision measuring instruments.
• Read process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine machining needs.
• Edit pre-written CNC programs with supervision for improvements.
• Set up machines and tooling, and perform basic equipment maintenance.
