Job summary

Plansee Group is seeking a CNC Machinist Level 2 or 3 to operate Okuma lathes in Franklin, MA. You will interpret blueprints with GD&T, set up machines, qualify tools, and validate first-article dimensions using hand tools, optical comparators, and CMMs.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading and interpreting blueprints with GD&T.
• Comfort with metrology from hand tools to CMM and optical comparator.
• Able to read G- and M-code and perform simple edits to programs.
• CNC Machinist Level 2 or 3 experience.
• Hands-on with Okuma machines using Fanuc and Okuma controls.

Responsibilities

About the RolePicture your day: you review a detailed blueprint with GD&T callouts, plan your setup, and bring an Okuma CNC lathe online using Fanuc or Okuma controls. You dial in your workholding, qualify tools, and validate first-article dimensions using hand metrology, an optical comparator, and a CMM.
