Orchid Orthopedic Solutions LLC in Chelsea, MI is seeking a CNC Set Up Machinist to contribute to the production of medical devices by setting up and operating 3- to 5-axis CNC lathes and mills in a lean manufacturing environment.

You will interpret blueprints, GD&T, and inspection docs; maintain quality, safety, and QMS standards; and collaborate with the team to meet schedules while upholding the company's commitment to growth, flexibility, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC lathe experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to set up 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC machines.
• Experience coordinating multiple machines and ensuring program performance.

Responsibilities

• Performs set up of 3 & 4 Axis CNC machines.
• Operates multiple machines simultaneously.
• Monitors machine performance and ensures proper program execution.
• Completes shop work orders and inspection documentation.
• Maintains daily maintenance sheets and safety compliance.
• Makes off sets and adjustments with minimal supervision.
