Job summary

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions in Chelsea, MI is seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our climate controlled manufacturing facility. You will set up 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines, load programs, and run multiple machines while maintaining strict quality standards to meet medical grade specifications.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of machining experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a lean manufacturing mindset.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2+ years machining experience required.

Responsibilities

• Set up 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines per job specifications.
• Operate multiple machines and monitor performance.
• Complete work orders, inspections, and daily maintenance sheets.
• Follow QMS procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist with quality control and alignment of parts.

Shift

Multiple Shifts (United States of America)

Responsibilities

• Performs set up of 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines.
• Operates multiple machines simultaneously.
• Monitors the machine to ensure proper program performance.
• Completes shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets.
• Makes off sets and adjustments to machines with minimal supervision.
• Advocates for the health and safety of self, co-workers, customers, and the community.
• Supports quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Completes all required training.

Education Qualifications

• High School Or Equivalent (Required)

Experience Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)
• 2+ Years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment (Required)
• Experience Operating CNC Equipment/Machining (Required)
