Job summary

Jobot, a leading aerospace manufacturing support firm in Southern California, seeks a CNC Programmer to mainly program CNC lathes, optimize processes, and ensure high-quality production of complex turned parts.

Candidates will read blueprints, select tooling and speeds/feeds, and collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production teams while benefiting from strong promotion potential and excellent health benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience programming CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with G-code and/or CAM software.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and tolerances.
• Ability to read blueprints and inspection measurements.

Responsibilities

• Program and optimize CNC lathe machines for production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T.
• Select tooling, speeds, and feeds for efficient machining.
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
• Support setup, first article inspections, and process improvements.
• Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production teams to maintain quality and efficiency.
