Job summary

SWS-Trimac, Inc. is seeking a CNC Okuma Lathe Operator & Programmer to join the machine shop team. The successful candidate will perform setups and programming for Okuma CNC lathes and work with quality control on first article inspections.

Required are GD&T knowledge, tooling familiarity, and strong math skills.5 years of related experience in the machine tool industry is expected; a background check and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Machine Tool Trade is a plus.
• Journeyman tool and die maker experience preferred; 5 years in machine tool industry required.

Responsibilities

• Perform job/tool setups on Okuma CNC lathes.
• Interact with company software and communicate with co-workers.
• Understand Okuma control; work with limited direction/supervision.
• Maintain GD&T conformance and communicate first article inspections to Quality.
