Job summary

Staffmark Group in Gardena, CA is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Programmer to program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to fabricate precision components.

You will read blueprints, apply tooling offsets, and verify parts with precision measuring tools while maintaining safety and quality.

Experience with Haas/Mazak/Okuma/Fanuc controls is a plus; the team offers a supportive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Machining certificate or CNC programming education preferred.
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.
• Understanding of machining principles, tooling, feeds, speeds, and material properties.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Apply tooling offsets and perform machine setups for production runs.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools to ensure tight tolerances.
