Job summary

ResourceMFG in New Baltimore, Michigan is seeking a lathe/mill operator to produce precision parts for our customers. You will maintain machines, run first pieces for inspection, verify programs and tooling with supervision, and ensure the line runs smoothly through daily production.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of CNC lathe or mill experience and can communicate with the lead operator and QA team to confirm tolerances and quality. Training and growth opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• 1 year CNC lathe or mill experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of the machine and check fluid levels as per maintenance sheet.
• Run first piece and verify program and tooling with supervisor guidance.
• Dimensional check of parts and transfer to quality control for approval.
• Run daily production and coordinate with supervisor on piece count.
• Keep the work area clean and machine wiped down regularly.
• Perform other duties as required by supervision.
