The CNC Lathe Operator plays a key role in producing high-precision components by setting up and operating CNC lathe machines.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machining instructions.
Experience using precision measuring tools.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Preferred: CNC certification or technical training.
Experience with CAD/CAM software.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathe machines based on job specifications and blueprints.
Load raw materials and monitor machine operations.
Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment in optimal condition.
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Adjust machine settings and tooling to maintain quality and efficiency.
Document production data and report any issues.
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and improve processes.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
