Responsibilities include setting up and running CNC machines, reading blueprints, selecting tools, and performing first-piece through final inspections with precision measuring tools. Strong emphasis on quality and safety in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC equipment.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Understanding of machining processes, feeds, speeds, and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines per specifications.
• Read blueprints, drawings, work orders, and machining instructions.
• Select tools, adjust offsets, and configure machine settings.
• Load and fixture raw materials securely for machining.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections with calipers and micrometers.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor machining issues and quality concerns.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Maintain accurate production records and inspection documentation.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to meet goals.
