Job summary

Commercial Metals Company seeks skilled operators and maintenance helpers to support fabrication, machining, and production. You will follow safety programs, assist with crane operations, and perform routine maintenance while maintaining clean work areas.

Candidates should be able to learn quickly, multitask, and work long shifts in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or GED is required; overtime and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and the ability to multitask are required.
• Willingness to work overtime and rotating shifts.
• Team-oriented with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work around extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust, and loud environments.
• Experience with CNC Lathe and preventive maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Safety Programs and uphold Safety Culture.
• Communicate production issues and needs effectively.
• Perform routine maintenance or repairs as needed.
• Maintain area cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Support overhead crane operators when needed.
• Troubleshoot problems using job knowledge and teamwork.
• Assist with start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
• Ensure tasks from Operations Support are completed safely and on time.
• Observe machines to diagnose malfunctions and determine repairs.
• Operate CNC Lathe tools for precision machining.
