Job summary

A leading staffing service is looking for an experienced maintenance mechanic to join a manufacturing facility in Dayton, Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and testing of mechanical equipment and machinery, as well as the repair and troubleshooting of CNC equipment, including Turning Centers and Mills. Candidates must have a high school diploma and 4-6 years of relevant experience, along with strong communication skills. This position operates on a 1st shift schedule, with typical hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with possible overtime.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced maintenance mechanic to construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.

Identifies parts for replacement and machines that need new parts and places orders as necessary.

Responsibilities

Will be working (repair of) CNC equipment (CNC Turning Center and CNC Mills) and lathes. Troubleshooting and able to read blue prints, ladder diagrams and electrical schematics. Need to be proficient with computers - MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Must be proficient in oral and written communications.

Shift

1st shift - typical hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. M-F w/possible OT
