SR Precision Holdings LLC is seeking a CNC Lathe technician with Mastercam expertise for the 1st shift in Troy, IL. You will set up, program, and optimize CNC operations to produce precision parts in a climate-controlled facility.

You will read blueprints, develop toolpaths, and conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet exact specifications. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Mastercam programming experience is required.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with precision machining and measuring tools.
• Apprenticeship or technical training in CNC machining.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines per drawings.
• Create and optimize CNC toolpaths using Mastercam.
• Read blueprints and determine machining requirements.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure dimensional and surface finish compliance.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust tooling, feeds, speeds.
• Maintain production records and document machine maintenance.
• Follow safety guidelines and keep a clean work area.
