Job summary

Hydraulics International, Inc. in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist who will set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision metal parts per engineering drawings.

You will select tooling, perform offsets, and run programs while maintaining quality and safety standards. The role requires 5+ years of CNC lathe experience, the ability to troubleshoot problems, and strong measurement skills with micrometers and calipers.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of CNC lathe setup and operating experience.
• Certificate in machine shop technology or related machinist program preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and machining specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision components.
• Load, test, and adjust CNC part programs with tooling and fixtures.
• Read blueprints and GD&T requirements to ensure tolerances.
• Perform in-process inspections and document results.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and program issues and adjust as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area.
