Job summary

ASM Equipment, LLC in Holt, FL is seeking a Lead CNC Machinist with strong manual lathe and CNC experience to run setups from prints and own part quality from setup through inspection.

You will operate Haas and Hwacheon machines, read GD&T blueprints, and contribute to a safe, organized shop. The role is full-time day shift with occasional overtime; pay ranges from $25 to $32 per hour and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven machining experience on both manual lathes and CNC equipment.
• Comfortable running a Haas control and doing own setups.
• Strong blueprint reading, shop math, and use of precision measuring instruments.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and takes ownership of part quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform your own setups and operate manual lathes, CNC mills, and the CNC lathe
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints and work orders, including GD&T, and plan the machining sequence
• Select tooling, speeds, and feeds; load, edit, and fine-tune CNC programs at the Haas control
• Hold tight tolerances and verify work with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and indicators
• Run first-article and in-process inspection; deburr and finish parts to spec
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep a clean, safe, organized work area
• Support the fabrication team as needed and help keep jobs moving on schedule
