Job summary

Magellan Aerospace, in Haverhill, MA, seeks a skilled CNC Lathe Operator for 1st and 2nd shifts. You will troubleshoot, set up tooling, check work holds, and review new programs to prevent crashes while maintaining tight tolerances.

The role is fully on-site five days a week in Haverhill with competitive pay and benefits. Prior experience with Fanuc controls and live tooling on a 2-axis lathe is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in the field or related area.
• Ability to read prints and interpret engineering instructions.
• Familiar with aerospace concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Experience with tolerances of +/- .001 and various gages.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with procedures.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and programs.
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
• May lead and direct the work of others and act as trainer on skills matrix.
• Follow 6S guidelines in the work area.
