Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace seeks an entry-level CNC Machine Operator for our Malden, MA facility. You will operate CNC lathes and milling machines to ensure precision aerospace components meet strict quality standards. Onsite, first shift, you will collaborate with engineers to implement edits and improve processes.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 1-3 years machining experience, and ability to work in ITAR/EAR regulated environment. Travel between locations is possible as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
• 1-3 years or more of Machining background and/or experience in a machine shop.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines and related equipment where programs, fixtures, and methods have been developed.
• Collaborate with Engineers and Programmers to edit and adjust processes to meet blueprints and work orders.
• Operate more than one machine in a cellular environment when required.
• Understand feeds, speeds, cutting tools, and their applications.
• Inspect dimensions and features to ensure quality per specifications.
• Complete paperwork for counts, scrap, time, etc., per Company policy.
