Job summary

Custom Marine Inc is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for the 2nd shift. The role involves programming, operating, and setting up lathes with sub-spindles and live tooling, in a 4-day workweek with overtime available.

The candidate should have prior CNC lathe experience, read blueprints, and know G-code (Fanuc I-Series Plus). Mastercam familiarity is a plus, with good attention to detail and a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating CNC lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong understanding of G-Code programming using Fanuc I-Series Plus.
• Familiarity with Mastercam software.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce parts to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints or work instructions to understand project requirements.
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure finished part accuracy.
• Make program adjustments to produce parts meeting print specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Prioritize tasks and adjust to meet customer needs.
