PneuDraulics, Inc. in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist with aerospace experience to join our 2nd shift. You will set up and operate CNC lathes with milling capability (3-5 axis), inspect parts, and read blueprints to ensure tight tolerances.

We offer competitive pay ($25.00–$38.00/hr) with a 10% shift differential on 2nd shift, full benefits, and opportunities for training and advancement within a long-established aerospace supplier.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience as CNC Machinist.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient with inspection tools (calipers, mics, gauges).
• Able to read blueprints and travelers; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines with milling capability (3-5 axis).
• Maintain high productivity while machining quality parts.
• Performs first article inspection on every setup.
• Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets and work instructions to determine tooling requirements, set-up procedures, dimensional specifications and machining to be done.
• Loads control media in machine controller or enter commands to retrieve programs from file server. Makes minor edits to programs.
• Performs own inspection utilizing precision measurement instruments.
• Maintain lean and orderly 5S work environment.
• Other activities related to quality and assigned by Supervisor.

Job description

PneuDraulics, Inc. located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA has been supplying the aerospace industry with high quality hydraulic system components for over 65 years. We are actively looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist with experience.

This position is ideal for an individual with experience in the aerospace industry.

2nd shift hours are M-F 3:00 p.m. to 1:20 a.m. Will train on day shift and then transfer to 2nd shift.

The pay range is $25 to $38 per hour; the pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Second shift has a 10% shift differential.

Basic essential duties and responsibilities for a CNC Lathe Machinist:

• Setup and operates CNC Lathe machines with milling capability (3-5 axis).
• Maintain high productivity while machining quality parts.
• Performs first article inspection on every set-up.
• Meet run and set-up time standards on work order. Run multiple machines at a time.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, process sheets and work instructions to determine tooling requirements, set-up procedures, dimensional specifications and machining to be done.
• Loads control media in machine controller or enter commands to retrieve programs from file server. Makes minor edits to programs.
• Performs own inspection utilizing precision measurement instruments.
• Maintain lean and orderly "5s" work environment.
• Other activities related to quality and assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• 5 years minimum experience working as a CNC Machinist.
• Proficient in the use of inspection tools (calipers, mics, and gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and travelers.
• Well organized; detailed oriented; strong work ethics and ability to self-motivate.
