Goodwin Recruiting is seeking experienced CNC Machinists for a leading aerospace manufacturer. This role supports 2nd and 3rd shifts, focusing on precision components for military and commercial aircraft programs.

You will work with state-of-the-art CNC equipment, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances while maintaining safety and quality standards. A competitive compensation package includes benefits and a sign-on bonus, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• CNC machining experience or machinist certification.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits

• $25.00 - $36.00 per hour based on experience
• Additional $2.00/hour shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts
• Additional $3.00/hour for qualified machinists operating multiple machines simultaneously

Training Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Available Shifts

• 2nd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM
• 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Position Summary

The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and machining precision components to exact specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
