Job summary

Bestlogic Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for a direct-hire, full-time role in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will set up Nakamura CNC lathes, interpret blueprints, select tooling, and optimize feeds and speeds to produce quality parts.

The position requires at least five years of CNC setup experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting the CNC Lathe Department. A Lean Enterprise mindset is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe equipment, including Nakamura machines.

• Work independently from blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.

• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.

• Properly use and understand measuring and gauging equipment.

• Ensure the quality of all products produced on assigned machines.

• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues.

• Train and monitor operators within the department.

• Perform required 5S activities and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Our manufacturing client is seeking an experienced and dependable CNC Lathe Machinist. This direct-hire position requires at least five years of CNC machine setup experience and the ability to independently set up and operate CNC lathe equipment, including Nakamura machines.

The ideal candidate can interpret technical drawings and work instructions, select and set tooling, perform inspections, troubleshoot machining issues, and support operators within the CNC Lathe Department.
