Aerotek in Flushing, MI is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for a contract role on first or second shift in a climate-controlled facility. You will set up and operate Haas lathes, read blueprints, adjust tools, and program or modify G-code to meet tight tolerances.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years of CNC lathe experience, familiarity with Fanuc or similar controls, GD&T knowledge, and strong math skills. The position offers competitive hourly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for skill

Competenze

3-4 years of CNC Lathe machining experience.
Confident editing G Codes with Fanuc or similar CNC controls.
Ability to read blueprints and GD&T with profile tolerancing.
Inspect parts and maintain quality standards.
Perform mathematical calculations related to machining and tolerances.

Mansioni

Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce parts per specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, job instructions, and machining specs.
Set up fixturing, cutting tools, and other equipment for CNC milling operations.
Select cutting tools and calculate feeds, speeds, depths of cuts.
Interpret and adjust CNC G-code and programming.
Set and adjust work offsets, tool offsets, and machine parameters.
Monitor operations and adjust to maintain part quality.
Inspect completed parts using precision measuring equipment.
