Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a skilled CNC laser cutting/press operator for its Fall River, MA facility. The role involves machine setup, operation of CNC laser cutting and related equipment, and ensuring safe, compliant production flow.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience with automated presses and proficiency in precision measurement. Knowledge of blueprints, quality documentation, and basic production reporting is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Power Press certification, Overhead crane training, and/or Fork truck license/PVO license.
• 1–3 years of experience operating automated presses or similar equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, depth gauge, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and work instructions.
• Understanding of E-coat and Phosphate chemical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery used in production.
• Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness for optimal performance.
• Monitor Bulk Nitrogen Tank system levels and report reordering needs.
• Complete production, safety, and quality paperwork/records; maintain PPE and 5S standards.
