Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating CNC laser or similar metal-cutting machinery.
• 1–2+ years metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser machines to cut, etch, and pierce metal materials.
• Plan and lay out cutting sequences using blueprints and production drawings.
• Select and install correct lenses and adjust machine settings for various material types and thicknesses.
• Align, fit, and rework parts that do not pass inspection.
• Inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, and measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and report machine malfunctions.
• Load and position sheet metal blanks, requesting assistance for heavy materials.
• Maintain clean and safe work area in accordance with company protocols.
