Job summary

The role requires at least 3 years of CNC programming experience, proficiency with nesting software, and the ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience programming CNC laser cutting equipment such as Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada, Mazak, Mitsubishi, or similar systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC laser programs for sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing operations.
• Generate nesting layouts to maximize material utilization and minimize scrap.
• Interpret drawings, CAD models, and customer specs to develop accurate cutting programs.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain program libraries and documentation for accuracy and traceability.
• Analyze production data and suggest process improvements to reduce cycle times.
