AmTrim is seeking a skilled CNC Laser Programmer in the United States to develop, optimize, and maintain laser-based processes including cutting, welding, drilling, engraving, and surface treatment, driving production efficiency and quality.

You will write and maintain laser programs using CAM software TruTops and FastSuite, optimize parameters for various materials, collaborate with engineers and production teams, and develop SOPs while ensuring ANSI Z136 safety compliance.

Formación

• Minimum three years of experience with industrial laser processing (cutting, welding, marking, drilling, or additive manufacturing).
• Combination of education and direct work experience may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, write, and maintain laser cutting programs using CAM software TruTops and FastSuite.
• Optimize laser processes by refining parameters for various materials to ensure quality and throughput.
• Collaborate with process engineers, design engineers, and production teams to integrate laser systems into workflows.
• Optimize process parameters (beam power, speed, focus, assist gases, etc.) to meet quality and cost objectives.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions, and training materials for operators and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with ANSI Z136 laser safety standards and company EHS policies.
• Provide technical support for maintenance, calibration, and upgrades of laser systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and yield improvement.
