Job summary

Laser Cutting Company, Inc. is seeking a CNC Laser Programmer to organize data and program CNC lasers within the engineering department. You will operate CAD systems to generate laser programs and create blank developments for CNC brake presses, working from blueprints and drawings.

You will communicate with customers, machine operators and the sales team to resolve issues, save and distribute electronic files, and ensure designs meet exact specifications for prototype through production runs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience using CAD programs such as Solidworks, Catia, Mastercam, AutoCad.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• High School diploma or higher education level.
• Pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize data for CNC laser projects and engineering workflows.
• Operate CAD systems to create CNC laser programs.
• Create blank developments for CNC brake press operations.
• Work with blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate part manufacturing.
• Communicate with customers, machine operators and sales department to resolve problems.
• Save and distribute electronic files to ensure traceability and accessibility.
