Qualdoc seeks an experienced CNC Laser Programmer to develop and maintain machine programs for sheet metal fabrication. You will prepare cutting programs, create nesting layouts, and ensure equipment runs accurately and productively.

Collaborating with engineering, production, and quality teams, you will optimize processes, reduce waste, resolve programming issues, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, edit, and improve CNC programs for laser cutters, punch presses, press brakes, and other fabrication equipment.
• Review CAD models, engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T requirements, and technical specifications to prepare machine programs.
• Create and optimize nesting layouts to improve material usage and reduce scrap.
• Prepare production-ready programs and verify accuracy before releasing them to operators.
• Coordinate with engineering and production teams to improve part manufacturability and reduce cycle times.
• Identify and resolve programming errors and equipment-related production issues.
• Maintain organized CNC program files, revision records, and technical documentation.
• Assist with first-article inspections and production testing to confirm program accuracy.
• Evaluate manufacturing methods and recommend improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Support machine setup activities and determine appropriate tooling requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and training to CNC machine operators when needed.
• Ensure all programs meet quality specifications and applicable safety procedures.
