Job summary

NPSG Global is seeking a Programmer to interpret blueprints, design programs, and set up lasers to manufacture components per specifications. The role includes test runs, adjustments, and collaboration with Engineering to ensure drawings meet required tolerances.

The candidate should have 1–3 years CNC programming experience, 3–5 years in metal fabrication, SolidWorks, and familiarity with laser-cutting software. Forklift experience is a plus; full-time on-site work in Sparks, NV.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of forklift experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1-3 years CNC Programming experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ previous experience in a metal fabrication shop working with similar equipment and materials.
• 1-3 years of SolidWorks experience.
• Prefer 1+ years of MIE Trak experience.
• Additional equipment certification training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read technical drawings and program/set up machines per blueprints.
• Program, set up, and operate machines to perform production tasks and observe specifications.
• Inspect for defects and adjust machines to meet requirements.
• Cross-train on all CNC machines.
• Read and comprehend blueprints, work orders, drawings, and instructions.
• Follow safety regulations and keep area clean and organized.
• Instruct others in machine set-up and operation as directed.
• Work 40-50+ hour weeks as production needs require.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure drawings meet specifications.
