Job summary

Generac in Eagle, WI is seeking a CNC Programmer to create and maintain programs for turret punch, laser cutting, and related sheet metal processes. This role supports our fabrication center and contributes to efficient, accurate manufacturing workflows.

You will interpret engineering drawings, optimize toolpaths, and troubleshoot programming issues while coordinating with production and engineering teams. Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SigmaNest, and G-code/M-code is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and prints.
• Interact effectively with production and engineering teams.
• Proficient with MS Office and PDM/ERP systems.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks or ProE.
• Familiar with SigmaNest, Striker, and G-code/M-code.
• Experience with sheet metal processes including punch, laser, brake, and CNC.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain CNC programs for blanking and welding equipment.
• Maintain floor routings and BOMs for sheet metal processing.
• Resolve programming issues.
