Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate machines for drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specifications.
• Select computer commands for machine functions.
• Load raw materials onto machines and set up first pieces.
• Run and monitor machines to ensure parts meet specs.
• Inspect finished parts and verify conformance to specs.

Job description

Are you a skilled set up CNC operator looking for new night shift opportunities? Do you have the ability to work with precise work specifications and measurements needed for quality inspections?

We are in need of a 3rd shift Operator to join our growing team in Monroe!

Hours are 5pm - 1am, Monday through Thursday and 10am-6pm on Sunday

Training hours are conducted on 1st shift for the first several weeks from 6:30am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, before moving to 2nd shift

Pay is starting between $20 - $40/hour, depending on machining experience level.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate machines for drilling, grinding, milling etc.
• Understand specifications by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
• Selecting computer commands for machine functions
• Prepare and load raw materials onto the machines
• Set up and run first pieces to make sure the machines produce parts according to specifications
• Monitoring machine functions and making any necessary adjustments
• Inspect and measure finished products to determine if the process has been produced according to specs
