Job summary

Opti Staffing is hiring a CNC Laser Operator in Northeast Portland, OR. Starting pay is $25+ per hour depending on experience, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

The role involves setting up and running CNC laser equipment to cut metal parts per drawings, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality and production efficiency. You will handle loading/unloading materials, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace while collaborating with fabrication teams

• Previous CNC laser operation experience.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow work instructions and meet production deadlines.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment to produce metal parts to specifications.
• Load materials, monitor cutting operations, and unload finished parts.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and production drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain cut quality and production efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality.
