Job summary

voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation in Shelbyville, KY seeks a CNC Laser Operator Trainee. The role begins with training on CNC laser equipment, assisting with setup, and learning to form/cut materials per work orders and blueprints. You will perform quality inspections and progressively take on more complex setups as you gain experience.

The position offers began-shift opportunity with competitive hourly pay and a path for skill-based pay increases. Training through RFC Academy is provided.

Qualifications

• One to three months of related experience and/or training in CNC environments.
• Knowledge of CNC machines, machine setup, metalworking, welding/fabrication.
• Basic computer skills to use manufacturing software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine setup, tooling, and fixtures.
• Understand and apply M&G code; make minor adjustments to meet production goals.
• Use measuring tools to ensure required quality standards.
• Follow instructions for operating CNC laser equipment and related tasks.
• Produce quality parts and assist in material handling and packing.
