Job summary

Custom Staffing is hiring a CNC Laser Operator in Sidney, OH. You will operate, start up, and shut down CNC fiber laser equipment, select proper nozzles and settings, load programs, and perform quality checks with documentation.

The role requires basic reading/writing and math skills, ability to use hand tools, and the stamina to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly (50 lbs with assistance). This is a 3rd shift (Sun-Wed 7:55PM-6AM) with overtime potential on Thur-Sat and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• Basic reading, writing, and advanced math skills.
• Ability to use hand tools and operate machinery.
• Experience measuring, cutting, and working with precision.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively and 50 lbs. with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate, start up, and shut down CNC fiber laser equipment.
• Select proper nozzles and machine settings for materials being processed.
• Load programs and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance.
• Perform quality checks and complete required documentation.
• Follow work instructions, schedules, and production routers.
• Communicate machine and quality issues to maintenance and quality teams.
