Qualifications

• High school diploma and work experience in a clinical or research lab.
• Ability to move and lift heavy equipment.
• Preferred: AS degree CNC or Mechatronics with relative maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain CNC lab space across four Tri-County Technical College locations: Pendleton, Oconee, Anderson, Williamston.
• Maintain teaching laboratory areas to be 5S and safety compliant.
• Maintain teaching laboratory supplies: ordering, receiving, and stocking.
• Repair and/or send out technology for repair; coordinate with vendors for maintenance assistance.
• Move and lift heavy equipment and drive a College vehicle including industrial equipment such as a forklift.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in the preparation and maintenance of lab space used by students in the CNC department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of all laboratory areas across four Tri-County Technical College locations where Industrial Technology courses are offered to include, Pendleton, Oconee, Anderson, and Williamston Career and Technology Center (Anderson School Districts One and Two). The successful candidate will have an understanding of 5S and ensure that all laboratory areas are both 5S and safety compliant; maintain teaching laboratory supplies to include ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies; repair and or send out technology for repair to include working with vendors in regards to technical assistance; and other duties as assigned by Program Coordinators. The successful candidate must be able to move and lift heavy equipment, and be willing and able to drive a College vehicle along with industrial equipment such as a forklift.Minimum and Additional RequirementsA high school diploma and work experience in a clinical or research laboratory setting.
