Job summary

Cope Plastics in Alton, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on CNC machinery, troubleshoot and repair equipment, install new power requirements, and maintain detailed maintenance records.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of machinery maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED with technical training, and expertise in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Forklift experience is required.

Qualifications

• Requires 2–3 years of machinery maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Forklift certification/licensing preferred.
• Experience with electricity and plumbing is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair CNC machinery.
• Install power requirements and replace faulty receptacles.
• Maintain maintenance records and schedules; address emergencies.
