Job summary

Dover Corporation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to install, repair, maintain, dismantle and move large equipment in a busy shop environment. The role emphasizes CNC machinery upkeep, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, calibrate equipment, and assist with equipment movement while coordinating with operations to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of maintenance troubleshooting experience.
• CNC machining center experience preferred (Mazak, Nakamura, Samsung, Okuma, DMG Mori).
• Experience working with PLCs and AC/DC motors/drives.
• Experience with electronic wiring/circuits and schematics.
• Willing to learn advanced CNC maintenance techniques.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains CNC machinery and facility systems.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance and TPM records.
• Repairs bearings, gears, and structural components.
• Diagnoses problems by observing equipment and talking to operators.
• Uses precision measuring tools to complete tasks.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs to return to operation.
• Assists in moving equipment and furniture as needed.
• Participates in safety and problem-solving meetings.
• Inspects and applies quality procedures in daily duties.
