Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Technician II – Industrial Mechanical in Richmond, VA. You will install, repair, and maintain machinery and the facility's mechanical systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Applicants should have 2+ years in industrial mechanical/machinist and electrical/electronic experience, plus experience with work order systems. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, operating forklifts, and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

2+ years in Industrial Mechanical/Machinist roles.
2+ years in machine-based Industrial Electrical/Electronics.
Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to operate various saws, drills, bench tools and hand tools.
Familiar with work order systems.

Responsibilities

Observe and inspect machinery and facility; recommend changes in procedures and structures.
Install, maintain, inspect, and repair machinery and equipment.
Install and repair electrical components of automated machinery.
Locate parts and pricing; complete required forms for purchases.
Use the National Electrical Code, diagrams, and blueprints to diagnose and repair equipment.
Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
Maintain records in the Fixx work order system and keep the area clean and safe.
Operate forklift or boom lift.
Other duties as assigned.
