Job summary

PennEngineering in Westland, MI is seeking a qualified CNC operator to support Mazak Hard Turn operations. You will set up, operate and tend the machine, load and unload parts, and change wheel packs to maintain production flow.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read blueprints and blue sheet dimensions.
• Experience handling hand tools and basic measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Operate and tend Mazak CNC machine.
• Load, unload, and change wheel packs.
• Troubleshoot programs, create and dress wheel packs.
• Set up machine per setup sheet or customer print.
• Verify setup by inspecting parts against tolerance per drawings.
• Clean parts and move them to next operation.
• Perform weekly or monthly machine maintenance.
• Maintain tools and perform preventative maintenance.
• Assist and train others as needed.
